Waiheke Jazz Club
Waiheke resident and jazz singer Briar Ross has formed a jazz club on Waiheke island. A membership base will enable some special events during the year with larger and possible out of town bands performing.
The idea is to provide incentives for people to join the group, to date these include:
- preferential booking (and seating) to events ahead of the public
- one free event per year
- door prize draws at events for attending members
- the chance for budding performers to sing or play a number at events with a live band
Suggestions from people about what kind of jazz events they would like are welcome.
